I'm a prospective newbie and I need some help.

I downloaded trisquel mini to try out on my net book.
Step 1 is down load the iso file
Step 2 is Open the Startup Disk Creator application

My issue: Where is the Startup Disk Creator App? My net book doesn't have one. Windows won't open the ISO file until it knows what program created it. I have to either use web service or select from a drop down list.

What now? btw acer aspire one running xp

Thank you in advance

I downloaded Trisquel mini 4.0.1 LTS. I need to boot ISO from USB. I have the ISO on USB. found IZarc to unpack ISO, still can't find start up disk creator.

There is a "create and format hard disk partitions" on my windows 7 pc, could I load the USB there, set it up, and then return the USB to my netbook?

Download this application http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/download . It works under windows and can create live usb drives from the iso.

Thank you grvrulz. It worked and I was able to look around trisquel in the virtual box.
