Is there a package helper for xserver-xorg-lts-vivid in git? I couldn't see it but have some issues.

To be safe, I am testing the lts-vivid stack for Trisquel 7 on a VirtualBox instance and installed Trisquel 7 mini. When I install the "xserver-xorg-lts-vivid" package, it tried to remove these files:

* compton
* gnome-mplayer
* gstreamer0.10-vaapi
* gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad
* gstreamer1.0-vaapi
* indicator-keyboard
* libgl1-mesa-glx
* libglamor0
* libglapi-mesa
* libgles2-mesa
* libgnome-desktop-3-7
* libgstreamer-vaapi0.10
* libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-0
* libopenvg1-mesa
* libva-glx1
* libwebkitgtk-1.0-0
* mesa-utils
* midori
* mplayer2
* trisquel-codecs
* trisquel-desktop-common-recommended
* trisquel-mini-recommended
* unity-greeter

Is there a way this meta package can be updated to NOT remove these files just like the standard xserver-xorg packages?

Due to that, I had to install the newer xorg via apt in this order to avoid the xserver-xorg-lts-vivid from purging files:

* xserver-xorg-core-lts-vivid
* xserver-xorg-video-all-lts-vivid
* xserver-xorg-input-all-lts-vivid
* libegl1-mesa-lts-vivid
* libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-vivid
* esound-common
* libaudio2
* libaudiofile1
* libesd0
* libglapi-mesa-lts-vivid (also installs libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-vivid)
* libsvga1 (also installs libx86-1)
* mplayer

Here's another thing...

When I installed those packages individually minus the main meta "xserver-xorg-lts-vivid" package, my lightdm wouldn't start and even when I tried an alternative like lxdm, it would kick me to the terminal on boot.

I don't know if this is a bug or an issue, but this doesn't affect lightdm when this lts-vivid xorg package is installed by default on the Ubuntu 14.04.3 ISO.
