My new J4 arrived yesterday, and this message comes from it. When I unboxed the machine and turned it on, I heard the little 'boink', telling me the Trisquel login dialogue was up. I activated the Orca screen reader, using the default shortcut, and logged in. I discovered that the machine was configured as I'd requested, in the order comment section. I'd give Think Penguin 5/5 yelps, but that site is not free software; LOL! So, I'll give them gold stars, for customer service, here!

That J4 is a very nice looking laptop. What cpu did you choose, and how much ram?

The default specification costs ~$1000. I choose maximum memory (64 GiB) and 1 TB SSD, and the total price is ~$1600.

The CPU supports AVX512 and several other vectorized instruction sets, that's pretty nice. However, the maximum memory seems to be only 64 GiB (according to ark.intel.com), so I don't have much motivation to upgrade.

Thanks for reviewing ThinkPenguin. I didn't have such information
enough so this helps me. However, could you please upload your
computer information with hw-probe? https://linux-hardware.org

I only care whether the wireless NIC is AR9462 (QCNFA222) or AR9565 (QCNFA335), the only two M.2 ath9k models I know.

Anything else is insignificant.

My wireless is using the ath9k driver.
