Is it a free software switch? It has no respect your freedom certificate. Do all switches have no free software issues?
Thank you.

I believe they do not. For your purchase, you can access the site through http://libre.thinkpenguin.com to have ThinkPenguin make a donation to the Trisquel project.

I know about no respect your freedom certified switch. If the thinkpenguin switch can get respect your freedom certified then why has thinkpenguin not gotten the switch certified?

My understanding is that non-manageable switches typically don't have any processor or controller that is programmable, so I would say that any non-manageable switch should be ok and there is perhaps not so much use to certify this kind of device.

I found https://botblox.io/content/SwitchBlox%20DataSheet%20EF_H%20_R.pdf that shows the design of a switch where, as indicated, there is no microcontroller in the non-manageable version.
