I bought this laptop with win 11 and I really hate windows. I had been using Trisquel for seven year and I really miss it on my new laptop.
Has anyone been able to install Trisquel on a thunderobot? I know that there will be proprietary technology and the installation if I can install it will be limited and I will have to non-open components.
If you have can you point me to the right resources where I can find out how to install trisquel on Thunderobot with Win 11 on it I would really appreciate it.
Why not prepare and plug a Trisquel LiveUSB and find out how it will perform?
It's hard to disable or enable the UIEF option, I don't remember which I need in order to boot from an USB flash drive.
I might have to prepare the flash drive at another computer since win 11 probably won't let me.
I'm able to get Triskel on a USB flash drive ok on my old laptop with Triskel. The problem is going into the BIOS and doing I don't remember what in there in order to boot from the USB.

You can enter the BIOS in Windows 11 by going to Settings app > System > Recovery > Advance startup > Restart now > Troubleshoot > Advanced option > UEFI Firmware settings.
There you will be able to select the boot media.
