I listened to that audio recording and can confirm his words.
I talked to Rubén about it last night and he announced this at Libre Planet this morning when he gave his presentation.
I've attached a picture of his presentation for those who missed it.
You forgot to attach the link/URL to that picture.

I ran into trouble uploading to the forums (maybe the feature does not work or it was too big a file?) or our web site. They appear to be blocking ssh connections at the conference.
Chris, do you have any problem if I use your photo for documenting a post blog about the LibrePlanet event? I want to tell Rubén's talk.
Nope. I give you my permission to use the photo however you like.

I upgraded this afternoon (with some other problem) and goes perfectly.
Nautilus and the overall system runs faster. Some pictures:

Wow! That's a LOT of info and pictures there.
Too bad I don't read Spanish, I'll have to get a translating program to do it.
Thanks!
Awesome! Have you submitted it to the various 'news' sites? I don't know what they are in Spanish.
I don't know if the automatic translation was right although if it was you may have made a tiny error. ThinkPenguin.com is based in the US and has shipping from the US (New Jersey) and UK.
Thanks Chris, I corrected it.
I'm totally a newby in the news world and I am also not familiar with news portals. Really, the only one I know is meneame.net.
If anyone can submit it by himself, or give me the indications for doing it, go ahead!
I submmit it to meneame.net. You all are free to "menear" (increasing
popularity)!

Was there any one else at Libre Planet besides Fabián Rodríguez (MagicFab),
Rubén Rodríguez (lead Trisquel developer), and myself (ThinkPenguin.com)?
I noticed a number of laptops with Trisquel at LibrePlanet although did not
notice any names on the forums. Now I'm just curious who else I may have met
and didn't realize it.
I'll also add this. The delay is because Rubén thought he would have more time at the conference to put finishing touches on things. We also haven't confirmed the new Carl9170 driver/firmware are working properly for wireless N USB cards. We were too quick to get the ISO from the server and ended up with an old version in our first attempt at testing. Additional testing will have to wait until after the conference. If there is somebody with a card from us or know they have one which use the ar9170 chipset and would like to try the beta out it would help confirm this.

Beautiful scenery. Where is this place?
Kanny, I ask you the same. Can I use your screenshots? Btw, the second image is the Gnome Shell, true? and it was added manually since it shouldn't come by default?
Thanks
Of course!
Both images are from Gnome-shell, with several extensions (https://extensions.gnome.org/ )

To drift slightly off topic. Which packages did you install to get Gnome3 Shell working? I've tried the obvious ones (gnome-shell and gnome-session) and run up against the limits of my knowledge.
Thanks in Anticipation
Installing gnome-session
the other dependencies(gnome-shell, etc) are installed.
And install gnome-tweak-tool
for changing fonts, themes, etc..
Thanks. It turns out I made the simple mistake of not checking if the install went properly. It looks like my install of gnome-session was an early victim of whatever it is that's got the es.archive.trisquel.info repo all quiet currently.

For us English speaking folk: https://bit.ly/GUKQBc
Its not perfect English due to it being computer generated, but most of us get the general idea.
