Trisquel and Celtic languages

Hi all, Linux newbie and recent Trisquel user here.
I have a fairly good knowledge of a number of Celtic languages most notably Welsh.
I'm not sure if theres much support for such languages on most Linux distributions including this one.
Anyhow, I was wonder if there is some kind of way I could get involved in offering a translation of the interface of Trisquel in Irish or Welsh and so on?
Thanks or should I say diolch!
A GNU/Linux distribution is basically many free software programs (and fonts and ...) + a selection of them that is installed by default. Linux is only the kernel: https://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html
A GNU/Linux distribution may distribute packages that it creates. For example, Trisquel uses the APT package manager that Debian makes, the Ubiquity installer that Ubuntu makes, it has its own slideshow that is shown during the installation, etc. However, those are exceptions: you probably want to contribute to an upstream project. Your contribution will eventually end up in every GNU/Linux distribution that ships a package for whatever project you contributed to. Pick your favorite program that is not translated to Welsh and contact the upstream team.
Alright I shall do a little research thanks for your advice
