Flash is non-free software.

I believe that's an inherent feature of Gnash, the free software Flash player included in Trisquel. I'm not sure if it can be changed or not.

Right click on the video. Go to edit and then preferences. Click on the player tab and uncheck "Start Gnash in pause mode."

1.Disable Gnash Add-On from Abrowser.
2.Install Scriptish:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/scriptish/
3.install Viewtube:
https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/87011

Now you can see youtube html5 video.

Youtube videos play fine for me without flash, You just have to force youtube to use HTML5 via an opt in thingy.

HTML5 is so much better than flash, I notice on my system when i ran ubuntu flash videos would be choppy and sometimes fail to load, But with HTML5 video playback is buttery smooth.

Why all video sites don't get rid of flash is really beyond me, It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see HTML5 is the better technology.

@zRokh:
The more complete explanation behind this:
As free system Trisquel does not support non-free software such as Adobe Flash.
The installed free replacement Gnash has limited support for Flash stuff embedded in websites. Replacements such as Grease Monkey plus ViewTube help but are not always provide the same experience as Flash does.

@skilo: No offense but posting one-line replies to those who are new to Trisquel and its whole free open eco-system is NOT helpful.
