Trisquel boycott by Libreboot

Libreboot has a page where invites to boycott Trisquel by discrimination by trans person, I think the FSF take this topic very calm, more today where there is so much gender discrimination.
"The lead developer (Ruben Rodriguez) of Trisquel is one of the accused FSF employees in their recent discriminatory firing of a trans person from the FSF, and Trisquel is one of the most aggressively promoted distributions on the part of the Free Software Foundation. We are opposed to the FSF, and Trisquel endorses them, so endorsing Trisquel means endorsing the FSF. "
.
I'd like to comment on this page, stating some facts.
Leah recommends Parabola and says "We are opposed to the FSF, and Trisquel endorses them, so endorsing Trisquel means endorsing the FSF."
So does Parabola. Parabola endorses GNU and FSF, right from their Social Contract. They also have artwork promoting GNU and they are proud to be GNU. Even their domain name is parabola.nu. ;-)

She also writes "Dragora is a dead project."
That's not true. Their community is very active on the IRC channel and mailing lists, and they actively develop the imminent version 3.0. Considering this is the only fully free independent distro, I'd say this is pretty amazing!

Leah writes "gNewSense is a dead project".
That's not true, since they have launched a new release (4.0) this year and the community is active on their mailing lists. On their IRC channel too.

"GuixSD is the GNU project's official distribution"
That's not true and it's misleading. GuixSD is yet another GNU distro based on a package manager (Guix) which is developed as part of the GNU project. It's not *the* GNU distro.

John stole my candy, mama gave the candy to me. If Sarah is friend with John, and you are friend with Sarah, I now can not be friend with you, 'cozz every time I see your mug I remember the candy I could not enjoy, and mama gave that candy to me. No friends no more, mama says.
Super tramp stole my candy, then I will send more candy so he could sweeten hes life more often
Sorry for going off-topic, but why isn't EOMA68 libre hardware?
tct's avatar is a reference to the fact that the full PCB CAD files for the computer card have not been published yet. He made a big stink about this just before the crowdfunding campaign ended because he thought this made it deceptive for the campaign to claim that EOMA68 "has been a Libre Hardware and Software project right from the beginning". I and many others disagree with that assessment; for one thing, no one has received one of these computer cards yet, and whether or not the PCB CAD files will be available by the time they ship remains to be seen. If the PCB CAD files do get released by that time, then they would qualify as having a libre hardware design.
On tct's shop I asked if he agrees that all software on the crowdfunded computer card is free software? In his returning email he did not answer.
Further I asked him to explain 'eoma68 boards are not libre hardware. He answered, cad data is not free. And if it becomes free it makes no difference, because the cad data is made on non free cad software. He said, Stallman says the same thing.
The actual question I was asked and the actual answer I gave:
Hi Ron,
For hardware to be "libre", the printed circuit board (PCB) design
should be under a free license. RMS shares my point regarding EOMA68.
And anyway, if and when the PCB design files will be available under a
free license, modification will require a nonfree CAD software, because
the EOMA68 board has been designed using nonfree CAD software.
Thanks for asking,
Tiberiu

As answered by many and also using the e-mail that tct just gave to the
list:
EOMA68 is a standard, not hardware itself. You are probably referring to
the Libre Tea Computer Card, which follows the standard. I once
contributed to redacting the publication on Parabola project's website
about Libre Tea Computer Card and also had hard time with people
confusing it with EOMA68. Please read the campaign text again and
slowly.
Also, taking tct's message as reference, you asked about software
pre-installed [probably] in the Libre Tea Computer Card (assumed since
you got the name wrong): If that's the case, only the Respects Your
Freedom certification can answer the question. Also tct replied in
regards to hardware designs, not software.
EOMA68 isn't hardware, it's a standard.
As Paranola user, I feel sick about the hypocrite support of Leah of Parabola GNU/Linux-libre. Honestly, I've seen the Libreboot maillist and some of the FSF members concluded that the deleting of Leah's access of the FSF services was by take ALL THE credit of their work, and not by homophobia as he/she said.
Contribuitors like Leah infects and sicks the free software community and tersgiversate the concept of the Free Software Movement.
Just in case you're having this misunderstanding (I can't really tell, there are errors in your post that make it unclear), I want to clarify that Leah and Parabola are not affiliated with each other, at least not to my knowledge.
Yes it's complete disinformation
Personnaly i am fed up with all this ""person's personal problems"which is relayed by certain other people.
All of this is completly way out of proportion
(in comparaison to other situations faced by many people in the world)
such as people that have nothing to eat, or are in war torn countries.
And i'd like to add that in some countries there are courts that are there to solve such things.
And let's not forget Leah still endorses a lot both FSF and Trisquel in her libreboot-based business: https://minifree.org/
Honestly, the "Ministry of Freedom" website is not part of Leah. Is basicly managed by Damien Zammit, and he stated that is against the attitudes of Leah.

If exist a oportunity to fork Libreboot, I'll aproach it.
"The lead developer (Ruben Rodriguez) of Trisquel is one of the accused FSF employees in their recent discriminatory firing of a trans person from the FSF."
Seems to me like Leah Rowe is at great risk here...
libel
1) n. to publish in print (including pictures), writing or broadcast through radio, television or film, an untruth about another which will do harm to that person or his/her reputation, by tending to bring the target into ridicule, hatred, scorn or contempt of others. Libel is the written or broadcast form of defamation, distinguished from slander which is oral defamation. It is a tort (civil wrong) making the person or entity (like a newspaper, magazine or political organization) open to a lawsuit for damages by the person who can prove the statement about him/her was a lie. Publication need only be to one person, but it must be a statement which claims to be fact, and is not clearly identified as an opinion. While it is sometimes said that the person making the libelous statement must have been intentional and malicious, actually it need only be obvious that the statement would do harm and is untrue. [...] (See: defamation, slander, libel per se, public figure)

I bet a lot of proprietary software developers and homophobes are rolling on the floor laughing. Watching this train wreck must make them feel vindicated.
You're probably right. :(
She's doing a lot of damage to the Trans community; perhaps even moreso than to those she's accusing. When someone from any group does something, it reflects on the group as a whole. It’s hard enough for them, now they have this embarrassment. I know some Transgender people, who, if faced with discrimination, would handle it better. This is so sad.
Someone will have to make her stop- legally.
It's also sad to see how much talk this is generating, there''s at least 3 different threads I've seen about it here.
Dragora is not a dead project BTW is very actively developed
The cat is right....:-) + 10000 miaws...
If that it's true!!! Oh la la...
Define "needs". GNU predates Linux, most of GNU can run on different kernels (including Windows), GNU GRUB boots any kernel, Linux uses the GLIBC and is compiled with GCC (Linux would not even be born without those two GNU projects), it is under the GNU GPL, etc.

It would make more sense to say no one should donate to Libreboot until
the founder of Libreboot stops producing libel.
If people stopped donating to the FSF because of an unhappy person's
repeated unsubstantiated allegations then that would be letting the
troll win. If all donations ceased so long as these threads are around
then what, is Bill Gates going to keep these threads alive indefinitely?
The FSF has shown no indication of liking to be bullied. How much time
has the FSF spent on this? Something like `as much as necessary, which
was not much', based on their single statement and the lack of anything
more substantive from Libreboot's founder.

I'd love to hear about how you're inventing a script that will literally
`make sandwich' so the masses don't have to work to get bread.
If one hasn't donated to the FSF, maybe it's not a good idea to complain
about how one imagines they are spending their time.
