This is my desktop.
My customisation is with Compiz + Emerald + Mate.
Compiz + Emerald + Mate nu are the latest version compiled by Ubuntu . I made the installation from an older but stable version and it has applied some patches. Mate desktop is not the latest and it's an older version which works better with Compiz and Emerald.
There are no bugs and the system it's working perfectly.

Conclusion: The old good days are back ! :)
