Yesterday I was at the GNU Hackers Meeting / Celebration in Biel/Bienne, my talk was about the Libre-SOC Project and GNU Binutils. Unfortunately I was unable to compile Binutils on my laptop running the Guix System. So I will retry compiling Binutils on my Talos II running Trisquel.

At the end of my talk, after I outlined future work to be done, I went to my VR project which includes a PowerQuest and my port of the Godot Beep Saber VR game. Hopefully this device will respect the users freedom, not being defective by designs as all Meta devices are.

I also found out that the Meta Connect conference begins on the same date as the GNU Event in Biel/Bienne. September 27 - 28, 2023. On day two I decided to verify the GPL compliance of the Quest 3 by asking Meta for the source code of GPLed software components. I alread knew about the signed blobs there.

In 2024 I will repen my Webshop selling SBCs using the RK3288 or RK3399 with Guix System, Parabola GNU/Linux-libre, Trisquel or libreCMC. I'm also working on other hardware, I'll start a live-stream soon. Of course I will continue working on the libre-soc project and test some components such as the GPU driver on Trisquel.

That would be awesome. Any of those operating systems would suit me just fine if they're preinstalled.
