Updating website main page?

How can it looks serious if i tell people that the 5.5 is out and the website main page is proudly announcing the release of Trisquel 5.0?? Is there a way that i can do it?

What exactly is needed to update the translation there? It isn't enough just
to translate the sentence "Trisquel ... release announcement", when I type
the German translation in it gives me an error message about a missing post.
Does one have to translate the whole release announcement, post it at the
German forums and then link the post too?

The french translations are not very good updated, if someone would like to
update them it will be a very good idea!
I know French, but the terms that are used in the website are too
technicals...

I don't know if there is still someone translating in french... You can ask
in the IRC channel or in the translators mailing list...
After contacting the existing translators (if any) you will have to ask the
translators permissions set by Ruben.
