Upgraded into Disfunctions of Abrowser and IceCat

I've got the FSF recommended Lenovo X60s. Last week I upgraded Trisquel.

I can get to Abrowser start page but as soon as I perform a search Abrowser withers off the screen and disappears. IceCat can get me somewhere but with limited function. Example: I go to my internet provider account to check my usage status; you know the small triangle (as at right of this page) that opens a tree of options? Well that triangle is gone and I so I can't find my usuage status via my X60s. Example2: I can get to my Wordpress blog but I have no access to options for editing.

I've looked through the add-ons, Spy Blocks, JavaScript, etc on the upper right of IceCat but don't see anything that will solve my problems.
