Is version 10 the equivalent of buster and 9 the same as Debian stretch?
Trisquel comes in stable versions only: https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/versions.
Since Trisquel 6.0 Toutatis each version is based on an Ubuntu long term support (LTS) version and is supported until the corresponding Ubuntu LTS reaches EOL.
Trisquel 9 is based on Ubuntu 18.04 and will be supported until April 2023.
Trisquel 10 is based on Ubuntu 20.04 and will be supported until April 2025.

That should probably read "until the corresponding Ubuntu LTS reaches End of Standard Suport" in Ubuntu parlance:

Just explaining a little bit more: Ubuntu picks packages in the testing and unstable repositories of Debian. As a consequence, although Ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa proposes packages that were, at the time of its release, in the Bullseyes "branch" of Debian, they are at lower versions than those that ended up in Debian 11 Bullseyes, released ~16 months after Ubuntu 20.04. Differently, essentially all packages in Trisquel 10 are at the same versions as those in Ubuntu 20.04, on which it is based.
