What Is the Package Name of The Default Kernel In Trisquel 8?

I recently installed the Linux-Libre kernel on my laptop, but it is giving me issues where now my DE won't load. I need to go back to the default kernel for Trisquel 8 (assumign this would solve the problem), but for some reason I am unable to make it work. I have purged "linux-libre" and installed "linux-image-lowlatency". Am I doing something wrong?

I think the default is linux-image-generic. A lowlatency kernel (oversimplified) prioritizes low latency over multitasking. Unless you have a specific need for low latency, such as audio production, I don't see a reason not to stick with the generic kernel.

I do audio production so yes, I have a need for low-latency. I'll try the generic kernel though to see if it gets me past the DE not loading though.

UPDATE 0:
Didn't work. My DE won't load :/

UPDATE 1:
Turns out I had a bunch of old kernels from linux-libre install attempts that were still being used. I made sure to purge and autoremove them and installed linux-image-lowlatency and that solved it.
