Which free softwares are there to create bus/train timetable ?

Hello everybody,
I would like to know which free softwares there are if we want to create timetable for bus/trains/etc., in order :
- to have possibility to print tables,
- to create graphics (up is location, right is time),
- to search all relations from X (FreeCity) to Y (FreeVillage).

I think you'd have to install a database server like Maria DB, and build
a client that can run your queries and display results in a comfortable
manner. After making the database on the server, you'd have to load it
with all the transit schedules. maybe you can design the database in
Libreofice Base?
