Is it non free software, SAASS or why is it not available? It seems like a nice feature so if it's free I would like to use it.

firefox reader is free software under the gnu lgpl v3

so you could just install it from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/reader/

i think its just because abrowser hasn’t got it pre installed

If FireFox Reader is Free Software then I think it should totally come pre-installed with Abrowser.

Your logic doesn't seem quite all right to me deavmi. There are hundreds of free software addons for Firefox.
Does that mean that all of them should come pre-installed??
What about the philosophy (particularly fit in the security models) of "the less is better" and "if you don't use it, remove it, or better yet, don't install it at all if you don't need it"?

I agree SuperTramp83. "Less is more" is the way to go. I know it's difficult to keep track of all the free add-ons and free software programs available. but that's what forums like this are for (among other things of course)!
If everything available was included in the .iso you'd need 10 DVDs to hold it all. That;s what the repos are for.

"If you use NoScript, you will have to allow scripts from about:reader."

Props go to Legimet.

Just wanted to add that to this thread.
