As with with normal Linux: It'll be fixed and included in updates as per normal. Nothing new to see here. Time to move on...
From the sound of it, this is only an attack vector for trojan horses: it means that a trojan horse's damage is not limited to your home directory if it exploits this vulnerability. So in practice, it probably will not have much of an effect for most users, if anybody.
It requires local access so I'm not too bothered by it
