In other distros having GNOME, the user can set application-specific reading preferences, by means of a dialogue, launched with a hotkey. When I try doing this in Trisquel 7, the dialogue is not presented, though the main Orca gui shows the hotkey as being bound.
When I rebind the key to something not involving e "orca" key, I can get to the app-specific prefs, using the new binding. I'm using 'left-ctrl+left-super' for now, as a workaround. Maybe an accessibility user guide should make this kind of suggestion?
The key combination was being hogged by ibus.
Fixed in trisquel-desktop-common-data_7.0-15.
