Fresh install has corrupt graphics on Nvidia

Coming from Ubuntu, I expected the usual issues, but I didnt expect from a fresh install that Id have quite an impressive array of corrupted graphics going on.

From the attached file, you will see that my firefox tabs are a complete mess. Not only that but I will often find general mess around the screen, like loitering parts of closed windows, or even things being only black and white (not grayscale). I also get that annoying screen flicker/blanking/flashing.

I tried looking first of course on here, but the only issues with solutions didnt help me at all.
