I am requesting that we are allowed to attach scripts to wiki pages. For example on this page about how to migrate Ubuntu to Trisquel I would like to attach ruben's script because I am redoing the page and adding pictures of the process. I think it would be better as an attachment which they could download versus having to copy the text into their own file.
This is mostly for neatness in documentation. A much larger script would make the page unwieldy and hard to follow. It would be much easier for the user to just click the link, dl the script and modify/study/run it as needed.
Currently this is the policy on attachments "The maximum upload size is 2 MB. Only files with the following extensions may be uploaded: jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp iso torrent deb gz bz2. "
Would seem to be solved?
Currently allowed: jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp iso torrent deb gz bz2 diff tar patch xz sh
