Gnome clock-applet not displaying Evolution appointments

Evolution appointments no longer appear in the clock-applet, nor are the relevant dates shown in bold. I noticed this issue after upgrading Evolution to 2.32.2 from 2.30 from the repositories. I'm not 100% sure if the upgrade was the cause, but it seems to be the case. New mail notifications seem to have stopped appearing as well.

The problem might be because of incompatible versions between the clock-applet and Evolution, as stated in the link below. Perhaps a newer version of clock-applet (and other related packages) could be provided in the repositories as an update?
