Still write embedded code for and MCU
and most desktop computers
favorite languages C, C++, forth, perl, sql, html, any assembler
in a pinch, will use python, fortran, pascal, BAL, cobol (sigh once upon a time), etc. been exposed to a lot of them. Retired from full time software management in 2004, haven't stopped.
Old Bell Labs C user (early 80's) used linux & GNU back in late 80's, early 90's but new again.
Author of several Kilobaud Magazine articles back in mid 70's on early microcomputer system design.
