"Corrupt or invalid kernel image"

Tried to install Trisquel on my MacBookPro9,1 (2012 non-retina) and I it got me to the point where I could choose to try or install the OS and a few other options, but when I clicked on the "try" it said "Corrupt or invalid kernel image".

Anybody got any thoughts? :)
