Forks Not Supported

I've come to the root of my distro-hopping problem: People tell me, "Switch to my distro, and I'll help you."

Distro support channels say "forks not supported."

I'm temmpted to switch to the most popular distro, so I can get support.

Forking a distro comes at a huge cost. When you fork a distro, your users are now no longer eligible for community support.

I'm frustrated.

What can I do?
