i wrote you a book (16-17,000 words)

i joined this forum to ask about the status of libertybsd. i stayed to talk about free software. i used trisquel when it was pretty new, i think it is also the distro that came pre-installed on my fsf card. (i think the cards included gnewsense at one point. i did a gnewsense upgrade when i had a lemote.)

when we talk, i am generally using a machine with my own gnu/linux distro that has no non-free software installed, though it isnt quite up to fsf standards either.

and when i talk to people outside this community, i defend the fsf / free software whenever i can-- though when i am dealing with the free software community, i tend to critique certain things.

i wasnt planning to write this when i got here. i floated this book by one of your members, i am pleased with the overview and suggestions i got. one suggestion was to move a chapter, which ive already done.

i tried to post this at https://papers.goblinrefuge.com which is supposedly setup for documents, but it didnt like .pdf or .odt so i dont know what sort of "documents" they are referring to.
