abrowser add-on versions

In aramo, there is a webext-ublock-origin-firefox package, from aramo branch (no update), with ublock origin v1.40.2.
In ecne, the package is from ecne-updates, and the version of ublock-origin in this package is v1.64.0.
If one goes to the add-on page in abrowser, https://gnuzilla.gnu.org, the version available there is v1.51.1.
In https://addons.mozilla.org, the version available is v1.64.0.
If one uses icecat from guix, there is a guix package ublock-origin-icecat that has v1.64.0.
In ecne, I see in total 9 packages that include abrowser add-ons. For those, I would tend to use the version in Trisquel repositories, which, for ublock origin, happens to be the most recent version available in any other place. For aramo, the version in Trisquel repositories is much older, and also older than the one in gnuzilla. Software in Trisquel repositories is known to be stable and there should be security updates if needed, but abrowser gets updates no matter what, then for aramo is it better to keep the presumably stable version of ublock origin from aramo repositories, or to get the one from gnuzilla or the version from mozilla?
Besides, does anyone know how gnuzilla updates its versions?
IIRC, webext-ublock-origin update itself online, so despite the version you install you might be using the same "dictionaries", not an expert on it, but you might want to check the details and report back.
It is a Suggestion package, it was a Recommendation some versions ago, but since it will make remote connections to update itself it got downgraded to a Suggestion instead.
OTOH; regardless of the addon version you install from GNUzilla addons website, you can upgrade the addon manually by checking for updates in the gear icon at the Abrowser addons settings page.
Cheers.
