Abrowser is keeping browsing history between sessions, even when settings explicitly tell it not to

I have just noticed that unexpected behavior today. My usual settings are to keep some history while a session is open, and to get abrowser to delete browsing, search and download history when closing.

Today, addresses of websites visited some days ago (and not bookmarked anywhere) started showing up in the address bar as autocompletion suggestions. After double checking, the same goes for downloads. I can manually erase all these, but I have no idea why abrowser stopped doing it automatically when closing.
