Is the Broadcom Crystal HD libre friendly?

Back during the Netbook craze, people wanted to play HD videos on their inexpensive laptops and some could have been upgraded to smoother multimedia playback via the mini PCIe slot. Now I'm curious does that have libre firmware and drivers and no need for non-free blobs?

If so, that could be very useful for people with a T60. (especially since libreboot removes the mini PCIe whitelist) I know Broadcom's wireless is libre hell, but I'm not sure about the Crystal HD.

It's in Debian's non-free repository so (unless someone also developed a libre version) it isn't free:

I wonder if Ghidra could help with that because that would be very useful for users with a T60.
