CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor changes on it's own?

I find this annoying. I'll modify the CPU scale and set it to "Powersave" at boot but then somehow it will change to "On Demand" and then I have to change it back. Anyone else getting this problem?

If I change it before the machine has gone through the boot process then it often just reverts of it's own accord. If I change it once everything's loaded then it'll stay there until next boot when it reverts to the On Demand setting.
Not quite the same as what you're experiencing though.

Precisely what I experience. But I wonder what the cause of it is.
