Dell 740 issues

Hi guys, while I librebooted the T60 I got recently and love it, there's not a lot of screen space compared to my desktop and I was curious, what about the Dell 740 tower that uses an AMD processor (2.3 Quad core exactly)? There's no libreboot version for that, but if I install Trisquel-will the original bios be as vunerable as the Intel managment engine is when I'm surfing online?

Installing Trisquel will do nothing to the BIOS. It will remain unchanged and continue to have whatever problems it has.
