My earlier post was How to check whether the software is free or not?. In which this and this are helpful.

As commented , I am here to asking help for determining software whether it is "free" or not (In other word Can/Should I install on Trisquel or not):-

- Boot Repair ; or Can/Should I trust on the repository listed by Ubuntu Community wiki?:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair && boot-repair

Note:-
In future (when needed) I will ask about/for further software on this forum (Update this instead of putting separately

Well the Ubuntu wiki page says: "Boot-Repair is a free software, licensed under GNU-GPL."
You can also take a look at the launchpad of yannubuntu (the developer): https://launchpad.net/~yannubuntu
It says in his description that he is "dev of 4 GPLv3 apps: Boot-Repair, Boot-Info, OS-Uninstaller, Clean-Ubiquity" and then you can also browse the code there, you'll find this file:
https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~yannubuntu/boot-repair/github/view/head:/debian/copyright

So yes, Boot Repair is free software. I mostly just look for the source code and then open readme, copyright or license files.
