On galculator: 9 / 0 = inf

I was always told it's undefined. But kcalc says it's not a number (nan).
I was trying to think about it, but it eludes me.

The result on Galculator is very unusual: it usually gives error or impossible operation, but in this case it says infinite.
Could this be an error? Dividing by 0 is impossible / should result in a void.
