FIPS not working in 5.0 and 5.5

Hi all!

Some time after upgrading to 5.0 I realized that I cannot open
Firefox/Abrowser profile with enabled FIPS.

I got the following message:
Could not initialize the application's security component. The most
likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile
directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write
restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is
recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you
continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application
behaviour when accessing security features.

and found a bug report about a problem with the checksums of libnss3-1d
v 3.12.6.

The problem was fixed by me, so it's something else. I have enaugh
space on the partion and rw permissions for the appropriate user.

I tried with hope upgrading to 5.5 but it didn't change enything and I
have no idea what's happening.

If someone have a clue, what's goin on, I'll be very thankful :)
