A Freedo Halloween

Freedo is the mascot for Linux-libre.
Halloween is coming and I had a thought to do a series of Halloween-inspired Freedo pictures, with the series named A Freedo Halloween. This is the first: Freedo in a gnu costume. I think it's cute:
I like it !
The second installment is out, with Freedo in a costume as Freedy. Not at all to be confused with the character Freddy :)
Oh my, this one is spooky. I am now having nightmares that I am having nightmares in which my worst nightmares have gone wrong. When I wake up, Freedy is angry because I confused him with Freddy in the previous nightmare, and hits me with a nasty blob for good measure.
So basically jxself is telling use he's programmed a Freddy Krueger penguin monster into our Linux-libre kernels, which will crawl out of our laptops like the girl from "The Ring" movie crawling out of the TV's.

I like this one even more !

I'm ok with this, my life could use more excitement.
The third installment of the "A Freedo Halloween" series is out, with Freedo in a costume as Json (notice the lack of an "a" and what that means.) They had said "The Software shall be used for Good, not Evil."
These are getting progressively more nightmarish. I'm worried we might get a cross between Freedo and Cthulhu.
These are really bringing back good memories of 80's horror movies for me.

Okay - Hopefully this is less scary then.
A Freedo Halloween #4: Freed-o-lantern
Are you creating these yourself? How do you get the colors so bright?
If I'm understanding you correctly, click on an object. Go to Object -> Fill and Stroke. Mess around with the values until they're to your liking. Maxing them out looks a little better in these cases, I think.
Also, does this mean that this one was less nightmarish?
A Freedo Halloween #5: Frux - Freedo in a Tux costume
(EDITED)
ugh! nonFreedo so nightmarish!
Ahh, the old penguin in orca's clothing. Real scary that.
Yeah, with the pumpkin outfit Freedo was looking less like a killer penguin, but now with the full Orca gear, he looks like he's straight out of a gruesome 1970's killer whale movie.
A Freedo Halloween #6: Frankenstein + Freedo = Frankendo
There's some Jailhouse Rock in that Frankendo.

A Freedo Halloween #7: Freedo as a wizard
A Freedo Halloween #8: Freedo as a mummy

I'm almost one - There's only one more left!
> I'm almost one - There's only one more left!
You mean you will dress in a Freedo costume?
Quite the opposite: Freedo is sometimes impersonating jxself so he can prank Linux-libre users and troll the Trisquel forum at will.
We all know it's you Freedo, you can show yourself now.
A Freedo Halloween #9: Bones
And this marks the end of the "A Freedo Halloween" series. I hope you enjoyed them.
It's just made up; I thought it looked good.
A penguin dressed up with a penguin skull? Well that seems just silly, right? :)
"This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and events are either a product of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, places or events is entirely coincidental."
He been hangin' around Fukushima too much.
Spooky thread !
I know I said that the release of #9 (Bones) marked the end of the "A Freedo Halloween" series but I couldn't help to do one more. This is Freedo dressed in a costume as Samara Morgan from The Ring: https://jxself.org/git/?p=freedo.git;a=blob;f=A+Freedo+Halloween+-+2022/The+Ring.svg;h=c4274e7a2e536334f1cc2d95db13a47337f45397;hb=HEAD
Have a happy Halloween!
If you are going to do The Ring, then I think you have to do Cthulhu.
Okay. As a special favor to you, since asked for it, this is Freedo in a Cthulhu costume. Have a happy Halloween!
Wow!!! This is the perfect Halloween now!!!
Oh...aaargh...that one totally killed me. I believe I may vote it the best of the series, if I was not dead already. Do dead people votes also count in this sort of contest? I believe only the living dead should be allowed in.
FreeCthulhu is what RedHat wants to look like when it grows up.
For now it is called the GNU Assembly: https://gnu.tools.
"A couple of those listed on the Cthulhu secret infiltration gang are toolchain developers employed by Red Hat (not a secret). The rest is pretty diverse, probably mostly volunteers." Sure. Everybody uses dummies to look larger than life (not a secret).
This totally fits a horror related thread.
Oh dear, so the GNU recursive acronym is going to have to be changed - from 'GNU's not unix' to "GNUIR" - 'GNU's not unix, it's RedHat'.
But then it's not recursive anymore.
I feel a disturbance in the force, like the universe is cracking and is going to explode soon. The basic atomic characteristics, like GNU, that held all matter in the universe together are disappearing.
Clearly we need some cheese to rebuild the bonds. Since we cannot agree on the animal we should take the milk from, I suggest we replace it with vervain liqueur. It will help everyone with their digestion and ease the conversation.
