Trisquel 7 on a ThinkPenguin, I boot okay and everything seems to be working except the cursor is frozen. I can successfully do an alt-f2 and run programs. What should I do to get working again?

If we are talking about a laptop, there usually is a Fn+something key combination to activate/deactivate the touchpad... and it is possible that the "something" key is not the one with the touchpad drawing on it (due to bugs in ACPI).

Have you tried plugging a USB mouse in? Does it work?

Could alternatively be that the browser's cache is full ... when I empty the cache, things start to work again for me ... not just the browser.
