As in the title i would like to change my hot keys i.e. print or FN... how can i do it in Trisquel?
You can do it easily in Trisquel (with Mate) you can System/Preferences/Hardware/Keybandings to ediit them
Does it refer to the desktop environment? How can I change it?
Perhaps it would be nice to create a specific topic titled “How to change the desktop environment in Trisquel” to be accessed by everyone and not just those who land in this thread.

For anything of permanent interest, the best is to include it in the documentation in the wiki. However, I am not sure I understand what you mean exactly. Do you mean, some help pages to configure MATE? Or some help to choose an alternative to MATE?
There are pages at https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/graphic-user-interfaces-guis but "install MATE" is probably not much relevant because MATE is the default Desktop Environement (people write "DE" often). I guess it could be replaced with some configuration help.

Great, I didn't know that the default DE was MATE so I thought it would be useful to do a guide on how to change DE (but at this point it is no longer needed in my case).

I didn't know that either, but if I can give a personal opinion I think there is so much material in the same place. As useful as it can be for people who want to discover Trisquel it's probably less intuitive for people like me who are looking for something very specific. Would it be nice in your opinion to have some sort of pathway breakdown?
For istance:
I. Philosophy
II. About Trisquel
III. etc...
If I click on the first one, the following categories will open to me:
What is free software?
GNU and Linux
Snakes and Ladders
If I choose the first one the related children will come up, in short I think the concept is clear. This would probably allow an optimized search for those who don't know where to go.

Anyway back to the reason for the question, I would like to configure the print (Stamp in IT keyboard) button settings by changing the destination where I want the screenshots I take to be created but I can't seem to do it. I've tried opening the applications I find inside “System Tools” but to no avail, maybe I didn't know how to search. Could you give me some specific directions or point me to the various manuals where I might find what I am looking for?
Am I missing something or is there no way to unbind Windows key+L for lock screen there? "Lock screen" is set to "Crtl+Alt+L", but pressing Windows key+L appears do do the same thing.
This is only a problem for me because my C key broke and I bound the Windows key to C using `xmodmap -e 'keycode 133 = C' # Map Windows key to 'C' key`.
In GNOME, Super+L is the default keyboard shortcut to lock the screen but it can be changed from the keyboard settings (it is in the "System" category), as any other. You know that a keyboard laptop can be changed, don't you?
I don't understand what you mean by "a keyboard laptop can be changed". I know you can change keybindings with Trisquel icon > System > Preferences > Hardware > Keyboard Shortcuts, but changing the lock screen keybinding did not remove the Windows+L keybind.
Maybe I am confused because I am using MATE (as is the default in Trisquel), not GNOME (though I know MATE is based on GNOME).
I don't understand what you mean by "a keyboard laptop can be changed".
I mean a keyboard (the hardware) can be bought and changed, so that you do not have to press the Super key to type the letter C.
To disable this Super+L behaviour, run
gsettings set org.mate.Marco.global-keybindings run-command-1 ''
You can also assign another key combination (put it between the '' in the above command).
There are keybindings defined in org.mate.Marco.global-keybindings, which can refer to commands defined in org.mate.marco.keybinding-commands. You can use dconf-editor to see all details. I guess I should write some wiki page on this, because indeed, many predefined keybindings are not accessible via the configuration menu.
Thank you, that command did disable the lock behavior. It seems like maybe it would be good if that option was accessible through the configuration menu, presented in an understandable way, because it's confusing that there's 2 different places for different keybindings to lock the screen.
It seems like run-command-1 is unnecessary when there's already a way to lock the screen using the keybinding in the keyboard shortcuts menu, but maybe there's some cases where that doesn't work.
I've never heard of dconf-editor before, seems like it's kind of like about:config but for things outside the browser.
Before the installation or the download of Trisquel you already have the information about what are you installing in: https://trisquel.info/en/download So maybe you never read it. Other of your questions was already answered in the Trisquel documentation.
