How do I remove my workspace windows on the panel?

How do I remove it? It takes up so much space and I find it hard to switch between windows. My eyes are getting tired from alt+ tab-bing

Do you mean the panel applet that shows the workspaces on your desktop?
Press ALT and Right Click

How do I add an applet when my panel is full? Usually I can add applets on a blank space on the panel.

Create a new panel or increase your panel size.
