I've trashed Trisquel

For any fixed-release distribution, the major drawback is that packages are gravely outdated. However, I may be back if there is a Debian-based rolling-release edition of Trisquel one day.
I tried to install Debian testing using the weekly-built Debian Installer image updated yesterday. But it didn't recognize my Atheros WLAN adapters. It didn't even recognize wired ethernet adapters on some computers.
After reporting this issue to Debian's developers, I had to switch back to the Alpha 3 of Debian Installer released a couple of weeks ago. One lesson is that: Don't immediately delete the old image right after finishing downloading the new image.
I still use Trisquel on "off-line" computers. It's also a good live medium.

..no one should ever need moar than Debian Stable :)
Language note: to "trash" is to mess up, ruin, etc. The word you want to use is "scrap", i.e. "I've scrapped Trisquel".
Anyway, what OS you use is your own choice and business. There's no sense in using a distro that doesn't work for you. I like the stability, but I'm sure Parabola is great if the bleeding edge is more your thing.
The first meaning of "to trash" is "to discard" (see Wiktionary), and this is what I mean.
I usually install packages from source code even before Debian packs them, e.g., GNU Octave and its packages (toolboxes). Debian unstable is often too conservative for me.
That's fine. Like I said, if you want the bleeding edge, go with Parabola.
