Libreboot mitigation patches for bugs caused by no-microcode config now restored (fixes speedstep/reboot on X200, T400 etc)

Hello everyone,
I think some people here might find it useful, so I'm linking this news article:
https://libreboot.org/news/gm45microcode.html
I've listen to some feedback from people and decided that this is a most practical response. I'm curious to hear people's take on it.
It restores bugs caused when microcode is removed on certain GM45 ThinkPads in Libreboot.
These mitigations were restored, in the patch as per today's announcement, and instructions are given for how to remove microcode updates easily (from a ROM image provided). This results in a blobless setup; the page also documents any issues arising from that (the same issues that Libreboot had in the past).
I hope people find this useful!

unfortunate typo; "restores bugs" - i meant fixes bugs haha
I think that the LibreBoot - OSBoot situation was “the best of both worlds” (as they say).
Now there are just many confusing situation:
- (what I consider to be better named) OSBoot is called LibreBoot (since the merging);
- some people certainly with good intentions (but much too salty) made https://libreboot.at/ and
- (now we have to say: “your”) LibreBoot might be Libre as it was before, but it is not by default.
So, what you made now is what you made best since the merging, but the problem is the merging and except “unmerging”, the only better situation (in my humble opinion of course) would be LibreBoot really libre by default with the ability to add blobs for those who want it.
Besides, there's nothing told about the ability to have (of course your) LibreBoot without blobs on Minifree Ltd's website (but I admit you might not have had the time to do that up to now).
