can you install librecmc on the device in the link? If so where can you read about which features librecmc has, instructions on how to install the librecmc software and where you can get the librecmc software?

Seems it's supported:

It has to be flashed at uboot:

As for features, it's like openWRT.
First of all, read about it; how to use luci, install packages and so on.
For instance:
opkg update (update repositories)
opkg list-upgradable | cut -d " " -f1 | xargs -r opkg upgrade (updating)
opkg install package1 package2 (installing packages, like nano)
Anyway, you can do these by using luci.
On the other hand, in a terminal is by typing -> ssh root@192.168.10.1 and afterwards the password you set.
Main differences are:
-There are no non-free packages, as usual.
-Linux-libre instead vanilla linux kernel.
-Only 2.4GHz frequency supported due to 5G has propietary technology.
That's odd, I thought 5G could be used libre. Reason being, librecmc is supported on the WNDR3800 and WNDR3800ch.
Both are basically the same and vikings actually sells wndr3800 last I checked.
Both of those also have 5G band as an option. You sure you got your sources right?
