Linux-libre install questions

Good day!
First of all thank you very much for the oppurtunity to use such great Free OS!
I would like to install latest possible linux-libre kernel.
I have two questions in connection with this:
1. Which repository I have to add?
2. If I will install not native trisquel (from other repository than trisquel native) kernel, will there be any problems in OS or they are similar?
Thank you very much for your help.
I used this repo:
http://jxself.org/linux-libre/
which is hosted by FSFLA. It seemed to work fine for my desktop machine but another thread here makes it seem there could be hibernation issues post upgrade. As with all things in life.. YMMV.

Hi,
1: http://jxself.org/linux-libre/
2: Maybe, depends on many things... and specially lucky ;) The best
thing would be to compile custom kernel, if you want the latest.
Regards.
Thank you very much for your help!
There is linux-image-3.1.6-libre-686.
It is what I need?
Also small question about grub. It does not show during loading. Can you please tell me where I should add something, so it will show during booting?
I have installed linux-image-3.1.6-libre-686 and also headers.
Everything is ok, hybernating, booting, but my wifi card stopped to work.
Driver which Trisquel has used with 2.6-38.13 was ath9k.
So I have no option for now and continue using old kernel.
Can somebody help me with this topic?
Help. I just downloaded the 5.0 version of trisquel and burned the ISO, I have problems trying to enter in live cd mode, it asks me to enter the user name and password, What can I do?

Ceacro just FYI you should create a new thread for this sort of question vs threadjacking someone elses thread.
Please see Trisquel Installation 4.5 documentation. While this is for version 4.5 (I am working on 5.0 currently) the install process should be virtually identical. There shouldn't be a spot where you are asked for a password (except to create one).
Could you please give more information. Which version did you download exactly? At what point is it asking you for the password. If you have a digital camera a photograph / screenshot would be very helpful.
