when i first got my openmoko it came with qtmoko which is ok but not amazing

recently i discovered how to install android 1.5(you can also get 2.2) on the machine and trust me it makes it so much better

and you can run gameboy emulators, play and organize media better
and the web-browser is better as you can actually see the webpage!
just remember to change the default homepage from google.com

but anyway its libre software the project site is here:
https://code.google.com/p/android-on-freerunner/
source code:
http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html

just thought i would share this as it make my openmoko way better
also i made a video showing how to install it:

I would recommend resizing the video so it can be downloaded more quickly. It is a 1080p video at 60fps with 499kbps audio.
Try this command.
avconv -i How_to_install_android_openmoko.ogv -r 15 -s 960x540 -vcodec vp8 -b:v 1000k -acodec libvorbis -b:a 96k Install_Android_openmoko.webm

By the way, I recommend changing the vp8 codec to libtheora at least in this video (along with the file extension change to ogv.) I got a faster encode, and surprisingly, a smaller file size, all other options being equal.
