Minimised Windows

In Trisquel 8, when I minimise a window, it seems to disappear, though, in reality, it's still there because I can retrieve it via the program switcher. How can I have the window go to the panel at the bottom, so when I want to retrieve it, I simply click on it.
A minimized window stays on the workspace where it was minimized. You can right-click and select "always on visible workspace".
loldier, the windows do not get minimised to the bottom, as you show in your picture. When I click on a window's minimise button, the window's outline appears and it "minimises" to the bottom, but there's no window panel in the "panel area".
psion3, I see "Add to Panel", "Properties" etc.
I think you have lost your window list app in the panel. It can be added back.

Configure > Settings > User Interface > Tray Icon > [ ] Hide in tray
when minimized (UNcheck) > Apply
