Hi, thinking to buy a chinese ARMv7 netbook with wm8880 cpu, those netbooks come with android4.4, I saw some people with Arch installed into those cheap arm netbooks. The question is, the bootloading firmware is usually uboot. It is uboot a free software?

The version of U-Boot for ARM is free software. However, it is worth noting that not all U-Boot ports qualify as libre.
