New install on a full encrypt disk

Hello.
I have performed a fresh install on my laptop, and I used full disk encryption. If I want/need to install the OS again, to bring everything back to the defaults, do I need to make new encryption (and wait for the long time it takes to do so) or can I just install the OS inside the already encrypted disk?

I would like to help you brother but am not sure about it - I guess you'll have to re-do everything- fresh install and encryption.
