https://tehnoetic.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=59
Tehnoetic S2 is better supported by Replicant, while Tehnoetic S3 is newer hardware.
Please note that those are not freedom-respecting phones, as explained at tehnoetic.com. The community still has a long way to go before reaching this goal. But we are joining the efforts.
This being said, Tehnoetic S2 is listed in this year's FSF Ethical Tech Giving Guide:
https://www.fsf.org/givingguide
Shipping is gratis worldwide for all Tehnoetic products and payments can be done in multiple currencies.
Thank you.

+1 for pointing the vital part of it out.
I've been waiting for a good Replicant phone for a while and have been without a cell phone until then. Will these phones work well with a service like Ting?
Hi there t3g,
I think you should tell us first what Ting (Ting.com right?) does exactly.
From what I've red on their website they are like a phone service provider.
If so, I don't see why the phones sold by Tehnoetic won't work.
I also saw on their shop that they sell Samsung S3 phones. Tehnoetic S3 is a
refurbished Samsung S3.
Best regards,

From Ting.com:
"Ting now offers GSM services too! With both GSM and CDMA networks, over 80% of devices can now come to Ting."
Tehnoetic S2 and S3 phones pre-installed with Replicant only support GSM, as stated in the Specification tabs. The Replicant community is not aware of any developer working on CDMA support, a protocol used only by some telecom companies.
@t3g, please ask Ting to switch you on GSM if you are currently using CDMA. And you'll be able to use the Tehnoetic phones preinstalled with Replicant.
@gnuvideoro, yes you are right. And for orders this month we offer a 7% discount for the Tehnoetic S3:
