Hello to everyone!

Yesterday afternoon I've reinstalled Trisquel 7 on my pc and it works very good. But after i've update and reboot the system by terminal, my bottom panel changed. Indeed the Menu launcher, now, is on the left of abrowser and home folder icons.
I'm trying to edit the panel trought right click on it>edit panel but there isn't option to change the menu launcher position.
So i'm also trying to edit the /usr/share/gnome-panel/panel-default-layout.layout but the layout is correct and in correct order.
Finally i'm trying to add and remove the menu panel right click on it>add to the panel but now i'm unable to remove the second application menu launcher.

Can Anyone help me please?

Thanks in advance ;)

Ps: look the screenshots to understand better

Hi Emanuele,
super+alt and right click on the menu, then choose move and move it to the original place. Thats it :D

Hi together,

i've got the same problem. I tried to move it to the right place via super+alt and then context-menu move, but this does not work. I can only move it to the right.

The active Programms Section stays always in the left, not very nice.

Does anyone knows a solution for this problem?

Thanks!

15 min after trying to click that image... XD
Mmm maybe if you try moving to the right the window list...

Hi Xlash,

thanks for the tip!

But this doesn't work too. The "Active programms"-Section is not moveable.

There seem to be a number of wiggly issues with customizing the taskbar in Trisquel main. The Super+ALT+RightClick to remove a program launcher from the panel is another one. Windows has had a simple, user-friendly way of doing all these things since Windows 95/98. Surely GNU/Linux can do better?

In the meantime, is there is page on the wiki explaining all these key combinations for customizing the taskbar?
