The tor guys say "do not torify any applications yourself unless you know exactly what you are doing." -- https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/TorifyHOWTO

So it might be hard to get right. A false sense of security might be quite dangerous. (I don't mean just torsocks but this entire effort.)

I actually did try running "torsocks liferea", but that unfortunately didn't seem to work. Unlike say, "torsocks youtube-dl" which seems to work very well. So perhaps torsocks works best with command line programs?

And you are right lembas about the need to be careful with torify applications. I was surprised not to see a guide with how to torify an RSS feed on there. Perhaps there are many complications that I hadn't considered?
