Hello to everyone! I have a new generation laptop, here some specs:

- intel core i5 9th generation
- nvidia Geforce gtx 1050 3GB
- proprietary wifi

I installed Trisquel mini on one of my disk partiotions to see if it works, but wifi doesn't work andfrotunately I have an usb wifi that works. The touchpad does not work at all, I also installed the last linux-libre kernel, but nothing changed, I have to use the usb mouse. Logically, Nvidia doesn't work at all. Should I install Trisquel on that a problematic laptop? Also that means that I will not use my Nvidia anymore, but does this affect the laptop ecosystem? I mean, maybe, on a long term view, the lapotp can not work properly or wear out its components if the dedicated GPU will not work. And also, maybe a 9th generation intel cpu is too new for trisquel (based on Ubuntu 16.04)? (sorry for my not good english)

I don't think that's anything to worry about. The Intel embedded graphics will work just fine. Unless you are doing hardcore gaming, the Nvidia card wouldn't have been used very often anyway, even if you were using a proprietary OS. Laptops with Intel chips and Nvidia cards tend to use the Intel graphics most often in order to save battery life.

Also, you should be able to get the touchpad working. There's a package you would normally need to install. I can't recall if it's xserver-xorg-input-synaptics, or another one like that, but nearly all touchpads (in my experience) can be gotten working with libre drivers.

This shouldn't matter either. You will probably get a better overall experience if you use a very recent linux-libre kernel from this page: https://jxself.org/linux-libre/

I have never heard of touchpad not working. Maybe it is disabled. Try the Fn+[some F key] to enable it. You may want to give Trisquel 9 alpha a try, although you would have to use the MATE desktop environment for the moment, not have a graphical way to install packages ('sudo apt install synaptic' gives you one though), etc. You can download the ISO from http://jenkins.trisquel.info/makeiso-etiona/iso/

"I have never heard of touchpad not working."

I have. For a while I was applying a patch to Linux-libre for someone to use it until it finally got merged in to the kernel proper.

That touchpad doesn't work is not a so bad thing. I once tried to boot Ubuntu daily build on someone's MacBook Air. Touchpad, keyboard and the NVMe storage all didn't work. The "owner" of the MacBook had to use a 4-port Thunderbolt dock to attach the following devices: one keyboard, one mouse, one Live USB, and one portable SSD for installation. Before s/he could boot Ubuntu, s/he had to first boot into "maintenance mode" in order to disable the "secure boot".
